NonicaTab for Revit is a free add-in that creates a new Revit ribbon tab and allows you to integrate Dynamo scripts by customizing 12 buttons. It enables you to set up Dynamo scripts (up to 12 scripts) as Revit buttons and run those scripts from NonicaTab toolbar in two clicks. Also, NonicaTab includes a set of 55 icons to make your buttons look nice.
NonicaTab will pop up any input window and will notify if the script was run successfully or with errors or warnings. Note that all Dynamo packages must be installed in order to run scripts successfully.
There is also the paid version of NonicaTab – NonicaTab PRO – with more advanced features. It allows you to deploy and share your NonicaTab toolbars with other computers.
Typical workflow:
- Download and install NonicaTab. Run Revit and go to the new Nonica ribbon tab. You will need to open Dynamo at least once to accept the terms and conditions.
- Set up Dynamo scripts. Click on the arrow below each button and select “Set up Script”. The name of your script will be the name of the button.
- (Optional) Set up icons. Click on the arrow below each button and select “Set up Icon”. The name of the PNG file will be the tooltip of the button.
What’s new in version 5:
- New set of icons.
- Support for Revit 2023 and Dynamo 2.17.
- New “Set up Details” button. Customize the names and descriptions of your buttons in detail.
- New “Refresh All” button. Update the scripts in all your buttons at once from the Settings panel.
- Other improvements and bug fixes.
