Revit Unit Conversion Tool is a Revit add-on that allows you to convert the current file or a folder of families to either metric or imperial. It is quite often the case that you download Revit families and you want to convert units. This simple tools allows you to do it easily and fast.
The add-on has three functions:
- Metric – Convert the current file to metric
- Imperial – Convert the current file to imperial
- Batch Convert – Batch convert a folder (including subfolders) of families to either metric or imperial
About Ryan Lenihan / revit.com.au
Ryan Lenihan lives and work in Brisbane as a BIM Technical Specialist. He is experienced in the building services industry with a background in hydraulic design and documentation.
Ryan Lenihan has presented at the RTC/BiLT Australian and Asia conferences over the years speaking on topics such as existing asset data collection, hydraulic pipe sizing, MEP template work, Dynamo, Navisworks and lookup table workflows. He also presented (remotely) at Autodesk University 2018 discussing the workflows to recording existing asset information and linking that information to Microsoft Access and SQL databases.
