CTC BIM Batch Suite for Revit is a tool set that provides a lot of power to Revit users and BIM managers to process key workflows rapidly in mass. The focus is on importing and exporting of data. This suite is meant for experienced Revit users, unlike BIM Project Suite which is designed for everybody. Some of the tools are very powerful and therefore you want to be careful who gets their hands on them because with great power and lack of knowledge comes great irresponsibility.
The toolset includes five tools. Two tools are free and they are about content management.
CTC BIM Batch Suite for Revit includes the following tools:
- Family Exporter (free). Export specific families from projects, automatically create a folder structure based on family categories and geometry, and add customized text to exported family names.
- Family Loader (free). Control how the families are loaded. This tool automates the process of loading or reloading families into projects or other families (as nested families). It provides the option to overwrite existing parameter values.
- Plotter & Exporter. Plot or export views and sheets to many formats. You can export to PDF, DWG, DXF, DGN, DWF, DWFx, FBX, Navisworks and IFC files.
- Project & Families Upgrader. Facilitates upgrading many Revit projects or families to the current version of Revit.
- Project Processor. Allows planned changes to be made to many projects models. Tasks include cleaning, purging, adding parameters, repathing links, etc.
Version 2024 updates (changelog)
- 24.1 Update. Plotter and Exporter: the scheduler allows replacing configuration files; support for Autodesk Construction Cloud services.

CTC Software
