- New Home interface.
- New and updated interoperability with Fusion 360: New workflows connecting Inventor to Fusion 360 allow for easy cloud-based design collaboration and also allow you to connect Inventor parts and assemblies directly to Fusion 360 for collaboration and additional workflows.
- Improved connection between Revit and Inventor: Improved BIM-MCAD interoperability. New data exchange workflow to share specific subsets of the overall data set between Revit and Inventor users. This eliminates rework and brings AEC and design/manufacturing closer together.
- Part modeling improvements: Create components easier.
- New Mark command: Use sketch geometry or text to create a feature representing laser marking, etching and engravings.
- Improved sheet metal parts: Contour flange now supports asymmetric distances.
- Improved DXF export of your sheet metal part: Spline simplification now includes replacement splines for both linear approximation and arc approximation.
- Improved fillets or extrudes: Option to apply tolerance values within the property panel when creating fillets or extrudes.
- Assembly modeling improvements: Build your assemblies easier.
- Improved Express Mode: Improved performance when changing visibility of components.
- Improved BoM: New tools allow you to control what happens to suppress components inside of your BoM.
- Documentation improvements: Communicate your design intent easier.
- Improved Drawing View: Change detail view style from circular to rectangular. Copy and reuse your drawing revision tables from sheet to sheet.
- Model-based definition improvements: Multiple MBD standards have been updated inside of Inventor. New tool for placing datum targets.
