Purge CAD for Revit is a free add-in that enables you to purge all CAD imports and links with a single click. It is very helpful at the final stage of any project as it removes all the AutoCAD links/imports appearing on the project, including those on your view.
Removing Autodesk AutoCAD imports from an Autodesk Revit file could be a frustrating procedure. Whether these files are imported or linked, you must use different methods to remove them and if they are pinned or embedded in the model you have more works to do. Usually this task is necessary when you are about to deliver your project at the end of the deadline and you are in a hurry.
Purge CAD for Revit allows you to delete all the linked or imported CAD files whether they were pinned to your view or not. That way you can be sure that your project is clean from all the AutoCAD files when your project is at the final stage.
