Rhino.Inside Revit allows you to streamline interoperability between Rhino/Grasshopper and Revit. Many professionals use Rhino for geometry and computational design, and Revit for building information modeling (BIM). Rhino.Inside Revit integrates Rhino‘s modeling and scripting capabilities directly within the Revit environment, bridging these two essential tools.

Rhino toolbar in Revit. Rhino.Inside Revit brings the Rhinoceros toolbar to Revit. The toolbar offers several commands, including access to help resources, starting Rhino and Grasshopper within Revit, running Python scripts, and managing real-time previews. It also includes options to recompute Grasshopper definitions, bake Rhino geometry into Revit, and run sample commands for development purposes.

Rhino.Inside Revit integration. Rhino.Inside Revit allows you to trigger Rhino and Grasshopper as a Revit plug-in, enabling the use of the Revit API directly within Grasshopper. It includes over 300 Revit-aware components in Grasshopper, facilitating the creation, modification, and analysis of Revit elements. It also supports Python and C# scripting for custom workflows, and integrates with Autodesk’s BIM360 through the BIM360 File Locker plugin for Rhino.

Rhino.Inside Revit plans. Rhino.Inside Revit is a free add-on developed by the creators of Rhino, but it requires valid licenses for both Rhino and Autodesk Revit. Grasshopper, which is not a standalone product, is fully integrated within Rhino, allowing advanced parametric design within Revit.
