RoomWise for Revit is a free add-on that allows you to feed Room identity data into the model elements (Doors, Windows, Furniture, Equipment etc.) inside the room, in order to create COBie/FM ready intelligent 3D model. It creates new shared parameters for each value. You can save settings in XML format.
Typical workflow:
- Select the desired parameters of Rooms category which you want to feed into model elements.
- Click on “Map”. The selected parameters will appear in the box.
- You can save this setting as XML file that can be loaded later.
- Now select the desired model category into which the room identity will be populated.
- Click on “Import”.
- New shared parameters will be created in the selected model categories with the populated values.
Note: You need to have a Shared Parameter file created inside the Revit project.
