Scope Box Synchronizer for Revit quickly imports and synchronizes Scope Boxes between Revit projects. The application is able to import all or selected Scope Boxes from a linked Revit project into your project, as well as checking if yours and the linked Scope Boxes are the same – if they are different you’re able to Synchronize your Scope Boxes to match those in the linked project.
Similar to the built-in Copy/Monitor functionality but on Scope Boxes.
The function updates the scope boxes and maintains all scope box selections on views already made in the project.
After importing or synchronizing you also have the possibility to reorder the Scope Boxes either automatically or with drag and drop.
Note: In version 1.8.0 there’s a XML file created under current “user/appdata/local/OmniaRevit/ScopeboxSynchronizer” – “enabled_scopeboxes.xml”. This file enables the application to remember which Scope Boxes should be enabled. To reset settings just delete that XML file.
Typical workflow:
In a Revit project, link to another project containing Scope Boxes and start the application.
If any Scope Boxes are detected in the linked project you will have the option to Import them into your project – if the name of the linked project’s Scope Boxes matches any of yours, the application offers to Synchronize the linked Scope Boxes to yours and make sure that all your views which are set to a Scope Box will be set accordingly.
