Tekla BIMsight is discontinued on December 31, 2019 and has been replaced with Trimble Connect for Desktop.
Tekla BIMsight is a free professional BIM application for design and construction coordination. Everyone in construction (architect, structural engineer, MEP designer) can combine their models, check for clashes, add comments and share information using the same 3D environment. You can combine, view and check model building information created with any industry standard BIM software (like Revit or ArchiCAD). Supported file formats for import are DWG, DGN, IFC and XML.
The tool enables project members to compare data, identify and solve errors already in the design phase before the actual construction. You can achieve this by running automated clash detection between all models. You can use Tekla BIMsight in the office, in design coordination meetings, on site with tablets, in big room situations on a smart board.
You can insert, view, navigate, filter, select, markup, manage, check and communicate, control the display and visibility of model objects, run automated clash checks and measure dimensions and clearances.
