Togal.AI is an AI-powered estimating software that helps construction managers and other professionals automatically analyse construction drawings and create quantity reports. Powered by deep machine learning, the software is designed to automatically detect and analyse construction drawings, thereby providing detailed and accurate estimates in a matter of seconds. Being cloud-based, it allows team members to collaborate and work together on the same set of drawings. Togal.AI’s latest feature includes its integration with OpenAI ChatGPT to provide construction professionals with semantic search functionality for efficient document management.

- Automated quantity take-offs: The software can detect and measure project spaces, features, and components, and then label them with relevant information such as materials, dimensions, and quantities. It uses advanced algorithms and machine learning to analyze construction drawings, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the measurement process.
- Compare different drawing versions: Togal.AI allows you to compare different drawing versions by overlaying them over one other.
- Real-time collaboration: It allows you to add project members as collaborators with different viewing and editing permissions.
- Auto-naming of drawings: Togal.AI can automatically update the names of the uploaded drawings by scanning the sheet name and number section on each drawing.
- Supported formats: The software supports the import of all drawing formats, including PDF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, etc. The data can be exported in the form of an Excel sheet or PDF.
- TogalGPT: It allows users to quickly search for relevant information from drawings and specification data containing numerous pages, sets or projects.
Typical Workflow
- Create a new project in Togal.AI and upload the desired drawings. You can also import drawings directly from your Procore account
- Adjust the drawing scale by clicking on the Scale button in the bottom left corner.
- Use the different measurement tools such as the area tool, perimeter tool and count tool, to measure the quantities of different spaces and objects on the drawing.
- Adjust the measurements if needed, by selecting and dragging the points on the drawing.
- Click on the Togal button on the top bar to automatically analyze the drawing. The take-off results are displayed in the panel on the right side of the screen by clicking on the Quantities button.
- Add comments, notes and annotations to the drawing for better communication and collaboration
- Click on the Export button to export the tale-off data. The data can be grouped and filtered here before exporting to various file formats, including CSV, PDF, and Excel.
