Align Views Plus for Revit is an add-in that enables you to automatically align views and schedules in multiple sheets. The add-in provides an automated solution to one of Revit’s common challenges: the manual alignment of views using Revit’s Guide Grid functionality. This tool automates the alignment process, making it possible to align content quickly across many sheets with just a few commands. Additionally, the tool offers quick view rotation and the ability to rename sections and sheets.

Align views and schedules on sheets. Users can align views and schedules on sheets based on a model sheet selected as a template, either by applying the alignment to all sheets with identical view counts or selecting specific sheets. This functionality groups sheets by the number of views and schedules, allowing for uniform alignment across large documentation sets. Additionally, the tool includes commands for rotating the current view, renaming sections and sheets, and copying legends across sheets.

Align Views Plus integration. Once installed, Align Views Plus adds two new commands to the MLAce ribbon tab in Revit. These commands integrate with Revit’s existing sheet and view management tools, providing users with easy access to alignment, rotation, renaming, and legend copying functionalities.

Summary. The add-in is especially useful for architects and project managers handling multiple sheets and views, helping produce consistent documentation. It offers efficient, automated alignment of views and schedules, along with additional tools for rotation and renaming. By automating these repetitive tasks, the tool minimizes the need for manual adjustment of views on sheets, which can be particularly time-consuming in large projects.
