Kobi Toolkit for AutoCAD is a set of easy-to-use tools that extend the AutoCAD’s capabilities in key areas and make work easier and more efficient. The main advantage is speeding up the work which affects productivity and quality of the final product. Kobi Tolkit for AutoCAD consists of 9 groups of tools: Selection, Modify, Geometry, Annotate, Text, Layout, Output, Copy to clipboard, Open folder. This installation file is also used for BricsCAD.

Architects and engineers often feel limited by the scope of AutoCAD. Kobi Toolkit is designed to fill in the gaps left by AutoCAD.

The full list of tools includes:

Selection

Selection Filter. Shows you all entities that you have in your model and allows you to easily select them.
Select Elements on Layer. Allows you to select any element and then automatically select every single element on that same layer.
Show Xdata. Shows the extended object data (Xdata) that’s associated to a specified object.

Modify

Spreadsheet Properties. Allows you to select any object(s) and change its properties in a spreadsheet-like interface, or save it as an Excel spreadsheet to edit it and bring it back.
Align. Allows you to select the object that you want to align, pick guide line or two points, and choose how you want to align it.

Geometry

3D Fillet. Allows you to fillet 3D polylines by inserting tessellated arc.
3D Offset. Allows you to offset 3D polylines at an elevation by specifying horizontal and vertical offsets.
Convert to 3D Polyline. Allows you to convert 2D polylines to 3D polylines.
Extended Polyline. Overcome limitations when you create 3D polylines: set elevations or grades, and put curves.
Elevation Editor. Allows you to specify elevations or grades in 3D polylines.

Annotate

Label Elevation. Allows you to set a base point and then start picking points to place labels.
Label Slope. Allows you to label a 2D/3D polyline or a line with the slope.
Polyline Wipeout. Allows you to wipeout small portion underneath of a polyline.
Block Legend. Allows you to make a legend for specified blocks.
Hatch Legend. Allows you to make a legend for specified hatches.
Linetype Legend. Allows you to make a legend for specified line types.

Text

Sum of Text. Allows you to add up all the selected text in your model, get a total, and enter the point to print sum of selected values.
Total Length. Allows you to select a number of polylines or lines and get the total length of those.

Layout

Create Viewport. Allows you to create a viewport in model space and project that area and rotation into paper space.
Rename Sheets. Works in conjunction with the Sheet Set Manager and enables you to set sheet numbers and titles.

Output

Export XYZ. Allows you to select blocks or pick points and export those out into an XYZ file.

Copy to clipboard

Copy to clipboard. Allows you to copy the folder path where the current drawing is stored or full path with drawing name.

Open folder

Open Folder. Opens MyDocuments, Desktop or folder where the current drawing is stored.

New commands: “Extended Polyline”, “Elevation Editor”, and “Multiple Offset”.
Improved the “Block Legend” command to include block count.
