Properties+ for Navisworks is a free plugin that gives you a custom Properties pane and allows you to display only the properties (of selected objects) you are interested in. Just select model properties and they will be displayed all together in the same window.
When using the built-in Navisworks Properties pane, you have to switch between many tabs to see the properties you want to. Properties+ for Navisworks allows you to create a custom Properties view that can be docked and used instead of the built-in Properties pane. You no longer have to switch between tabs to find the property.
Also this plugin allows you to quickly create searches for items with matching properties.
The Properties+ plugin is compatible with the Navisworks Manage and Navisworks Simulate. Navisworks Freedom is a free viewer that does not support plugins.
Typical workflow:
- Select properties from model to view.
- Select objects.
- All selected properties that apply to selected objects will be displayed in the plugin window.
- You can copy values, copy items, and even convert straight to a Search Set via the “Find Items” option.
