Umbra Composit for ArchiCAD is a fully-automated cloud-based 3D solution for delivering high-resolution, photorealistic 3D to web, mobile, AR and VR devices. Change the way your 3D content is viewed, shared and interacted with. Composit applies Umbra’s patented algorithms to intelligently optimize complex models that, until now, could not be loaded on mobile mixed reality devices.
With the single click of a button from your design interface you can now instantly export your complex ArchiCAD models to Umbra’s cloud-based optimization platform, where it is automatically simplified and made available for viewing on any untethered viewing platform including mobile phones, AR and VR, and any device running a web browser.
The collaboration enabled by Composit will change the way architects and engineers design and communicate their vision, long before projects are built. Typical Workflow:

- Install
- Create an account at umbra.io. Once logged in, visit the downloads page to install the Umbra Composit plugin for ArchiCAD.

- Upload
- Click the Umbrafy button to send your 3D models into Composit cloud to begin optimizing.
Select the ‘Umbra’ tab on the ArchiCAD main toolbar and hit the ‘Umbrafy’ button. -
- Present
- Download the Umbra Composit Viewer app for iOS from Apple’s App Store. Log into your Umbra account, lock your 3D model onto a surface and present to clients and teams.
