Spacemaker was initially developed by Spacemaker AI, a company founded in 2016 and based in Oslo, Norway. In November 2020, Spacemaker AI was acquired by Autodesk.

Spacemaker AI develops AI technology that maximizes the value of any building site. They generate and explore billions of site proposals, sort out the best ones and give you detailed statistics about each of them. Their tools can provide a high level of insight to architects, real estate developers, and municipalities.
