AutoCAD 2025
by AutodeskAutoCAD, the industry standard for CAD, provides 2D drafting and 3D design capabilities with consistent core features for over 30 years.
Autodesk is a pioneer in 3D design, engineering and digital entertainment software. Though best known for its flagship product, AutoCAD, it has developed a vast range of software for the design, engineering and entertainment industries.
Autodesk was founded in 1982 by John Walker and 12 other like-minded individuals. The company launched their first original product AutoCAD that same year. Autodesk has since expanded upon a number of non AutoCAD-based products as well, including parametric BIM application Revit and 3D CAD modelling software Inventor. In recent years, Autodesk has made the move towards mobile and cloud-based applications including Fusion 360 and AutoCAD 360. Autodesk has expanded its presence in the maker community with acquisitions like Instructables and Pixlr.
Autodesk is more than just its products or its acquisitions. It had an impact on everything from education to the job sector and even on business sustainability and will undoubtedly continue to do so in the future.

InfraWorks is a solution for conceptual design of roads, bridges, drainage and sites, and for creating visualizations of a proposed project.
Civil 3D is a tool for detailed design that supports BIM workflows for civil engineering projects with integrated design, analysis, and documentation tools.
Inventor is a CAD software for 3D mechanical design, simulation, visualization, and documentation, turning concepts into manufacturable designs.
Autodesk Maya is the industry standard software used to make 3D graphics and animations by using a simple direct interface.
3ds Max is used across industries like architecture and manufacturing for modeling, visualization, and animation purposes.
Revit is a robust architectural, structural and MEP design and documentation package that has become the standard BIM software.
Generative Design for Revit is an integral part of Revit and it allows you to generate design options based on your goals, constraints and inputs.
Autodesk Forma (formerly Spacemaker) is a web-based platform that uses AI to help architects, urban planners and developers make better decisions early in the design process.
Dynamo Sandbox (Dynamo Core) is an open source program for visual programming. It was written for architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
