Solibri IFC Optimizer is a free tool for optimizing open standard IFC files. Optimization reduces the IFC file size by deleting redundant data. The Optimizer ensures your IFC files, especially the larger ones, run smoothly in model checking. Optimization is loss-less and the size of the result file is normally 5-10% of the original. During optimization all redundancy is removed from the file by updating the references. The resulting file contains e.g. identical lines only once.
Solibri IFC Optimzer helps you to speed up IFC file handling. This simple software allows you to reduce large IFC file sizes for viewing or distributing. Files open faster and easier.

Typical workflow:

- Update model in Solibri. You can update your model to use the optimized file, gaining the benefits of the reduced file size but still having all of your actual information in place, untouched.
